Specialized Hand Care
A hand therapist is an occupational or physical therapist who, through advanced study, specializes in rehabilitating patients with conditions affecting the hand and upper extremity. Additionally, Certified Hand Therapists (CHT), have a minimum of five years clinical experience and have successfully passed an examination of advanced clinical skills and theory in upper extremity rehabilitation. Patients receive a comprehensive rehabilitation program designed specifically to meet his or her individual needs and goals. We are dedicated to our patients’ recovery and to the prevention of future impairment. We are happy to address individual questions regarding specific problems, ailments or health insurance concerns.

Jane Burchfield, OTR/L, CHT is the most experienced certified hand therapist in the area. Jane has been in practice since 1980. She has provided skilled intervention to thousands of patients, guiding them back to maximum function.
