Andy Alaimo, a native of Syracuse, NY, Andy Alaimo graduated from Nazareth College in 2012 with a BA in Health Science and in 2014 with a Doctorate in Physical Therapy. A four-year varsity soccer player, Andy has over 10 years of experience working with high-level athletes, specializing in rotational athletes such as baseball and golf. His clinical rotations included prestigious placements at US Army Fort Carson, the US Olympic Training Center, and Duke Hospital. Passionate about identifying the root cause of problems, Andy has pursued continuing education in Trigger Point Dry Needling, BFR, On Base U, TPI, and all levels of SFMA movement assessment. He also serves on the APTA as a key legislative contact for NC-07. Outside of PT Andy enjoys spending time with his wife Morgan and 2 girls Stella and Piper.
Mark Dominick,MS, LAT, ATC
Mark joined PT Services of Wilmington in July of 2023 after working in collegiate athletics for nearly a decade. Most recently, Mark was working with the UNCW Baseball team as the athletic trainer from 2017 to 2023. Mark, originally from Cumberland, Maine, received his bachelor’s degree in sports medicine / athletic training from Quinnipiac University in Hamden, CT. Mark went on to complete his masters of science in sports management at Eastern Kentucky University while working as the athletic trainer for EKU baseball. Mark worked as an athletic trainer at The Ohio State University after grad school then came to North Carolina to work with UNCW baseball. Mark has experience working with numerous different sports from high school and collegiate to professional and Olympic level athletes. Mark has also done work with USA baseball including; serving as the athletic trainer for the Collegiate National Team in the summer of 2021 and 2022, and providing medical coverage at the 2024 MLB draft combine. Mark is certified in Intramuscular Dry Needling, has experience using Blood Flow Restriction therapy, M1 Graston Technique certified, and trained in PRI techniques. Mark likes to spend time at the beach, go kayaking, play pickleball, watch sports and spend time with friends and family. He resides in Leland with his wife, Sarah, their two dogs, and four cats.
Rachel Wolinski, PT, DPT
Rachel graduated in 2019 from Stevenson University with a Bachelor of Science in Biology. She then attended University of Maryland, Baltimore and earned her Doctorate in Physical Therapy and Rehabilitation Sciences in 2022. Rachel moved to the Nashville, TN area after school where she provided care to Nashville Rugby, Nashville Soccer Club, and professional bodybuilders in the area. Rachel has experience working with male and female athletes suffering with pelvic floor dysfunction, including but not limited to stress incontinence with running/lifting, urinary urgency, pelvic and hip pain with sport, pregnancy, postpartum return to sport, and pain with intercourse. Rachel has played numerous sports throughout her life including basketball, track, and rock climbing. She is now competitive in horseback riding and does weightlifting with a blend of bodybuilding and powerlifting. She also enjoys paddleboarding, coffee with a good book, and spending time with her dog.
